@songsabdrowning yeah it's awful, esp in Oklahoma/red states. I had missed a few days sporadically from Jan-June due to mental health shit, but I was always honest and communicative! So it really sucked, but ig they pieced my illness into a bigger narrative. still haven't yet found a new job 🫠

@songsabdrowning I was very ill with a lung infection in late July and was fired from a job I loved because I evidently was not detailed or attentive enough in my updates to my boss. so this feels particularly *ugh* to me atm

@LexLucas007 Yeah, other people have noticed this too, but rather than accept that ok, she must be so ill she can't even manage a text post, people are like "ugh we need more detail" excuse me??

@songsabdrowning The level of overwhelm involved with: 1. being ill 2. being famous 3. touring 4. whatever else goes on in your personal life 5. put them together? 😵‍💫 I wouldn't be able to function. as they've grown more popular, F+TM might have gained more attentive MGMT. safety + privacy first.

the news came on and the governor in my state signed two laws. 1) banning abortions starting at conception, 2) banning kids in school from using the bathroom aligning with their gender identity. what the actual fuck.
