Things I learned as a first cycler and the errors I made. (I nuked my twitter btw, that's why there's no older posts) I basically lived through most of the pumpfun eras, launchpad wars and everything that happened since 2024 September. I started looking into memecoins around when billy launched and people were deploying pinterest dogs and making telegram communities for them, (what a time) I started off with just $60 I made from my gardening job when I was 17 wanting to make some bucks for myself so I could focus on my studies not knowing I'd make good amount of money for myself Back then I'd say it was loads easier, mrfrog & mitch showed us that u can have 1 SOL and a dream, No need of a bigger capital to trade with Now CT is much more money hungry, negative, larpy & fake that's why I believe u should surround yourself with good people. (Yes GCs help a lot, u just need to find the right people) I come from a country where the average wage is 1,654€ not the greatest in my opinion but that didn't stop me I somehow got to a port of 3k$ when AI season started hard, I remember telling my dad that I had that amount of money in crypto and he looked at me like I was crazy in the car At that time I started doing fresh pairs, locked onto my computer for 17 hours a day not having the best sleep and even bringing my laptop to school popping a snus and chugging a redbull right after that (it did affect my studies quite a bit but that wasn't such a big problem) This is when I unfortunately PEAKED, having the greenest months and getting early into shitters at a low marketcap with only 1-2 SOL bids that gave me crazy returns. This made me feel quite invincible thinking this euphoria won't ever stop after that we had TikTok meta where loads of normies got onboarded where I didn't shine that much (These 2 Metas in my opinion were the easiest to make money in with a small capital and I wish every newbie could go back in time and try to trade them for themselves) And now I'm here, in a 6 figure hell where I'm really grateful to be in. Wouldn't really call it hell but a blessing. And the music keeps on playing. ERRORS: - Believing in the wrong people, not knowing they're there for you just to try to make money off you - NEVER SIZING IN DURING EASY MARKET, and only doing 1-2 SOL bids since I was scared - Not stabling at ALL when Melania launched, living in euphoria thinking Solana will never dip - Not apeing bigger marketcaps since I thought the r:r wasn't there - Not realizing life is not just about money and getting further away from your loved ones Even though im not outperforming in the market that we have right now, I'm still grateful to be profitable and being able to live off pretty nicely! Keep your morals, be healthy, never stop trying & keep your loved ones close. Don't forget that it does get better and theres indeed light at the end of the tunnel. - Wholesome Perc.
