But what if I told you Eintracht Frankfurt have been doing the same for years, just without the same noise? They’ve done it again. On the left: Ayoube Amaimouni-Echghouyab. Signed from Germany’s 3rd division. Just two years ago, he was playing in the 5th tier with Erkenschwick. On the right: Younes Ebnoutalib. Recruited from the 2nd division, having played for FC Gießen in the 4th tier just a year earlier. This isn’t new for Eintracht Frankfurt. Can Uzun, Nene Brown, Nnamdi Collins, all recruited from lower divisions. More respect is needed for Frankfurt’s scouting and player development work.
