🚨 BREAKING SBMM NEWS 🚨 Call of Duty has officially confirmed that Open Matchmaking / Classic SBMM and Persistent Lobbies will be available at the launch of Black Ops 7. It only took 5 years of complaining about it, but the COD community finally won. 🥹

@ModernWarzone I only played a few games because I don’t like to burn out in the game before it release…. But good lord if felt so good! I played one game that had a couple good players and they did well, but it was fun to try and take them out! And the other players were just normal.

Really trying not to glaze bc this change should’ve happened a LONG time ago especially after SO MUCH community feedback BUT My god does it feel good to have fun playing pub COD lobbies again, it’s been far too long since I had this feeling.

Legit haven’t had this much fun playing pub lobbies in Call of Duty since the golden era, and this is in early access beta, when even without strict SBMM the majority of players are much higher skill level than the average COD player at full release. Feels good to have a good game and not have to worry about SBMM giving me a CDL lobby after. I sincerely hope this classic matchmaking / SBMM stays in for full release @Treyarch, I am having a blast. Completely different feeling game without strict SBMM.

Let's switch things up. Later today, we'll have two playlists in the #BlackOps7 Beta: Moshpit, and a new option – Open Moshpit. Open Moshpit features classic matchmaking where skill is minimally considered, featuring TDM, Kill Confirmed, Domination, Hardpoint, and Overload.

🚨Breaking from Bethpage 🚨 This is from an insider who was on premise all week at Bethpage. 100% verified. This person wants it known that it wasn’t just pairings and setup. Team USA simply didn’t prepare! Why did Team USA start off seemingly lost? Why couldn’t they read a green for two days? How was Europe so ready? Is it so simple that Team USA barely played Bethpage Black, while Team Europe played it over and over? Imagine how much better they would know the course with 7-8 plays versus 1-2 plays for the Americans. This is hugely embarrassing. We have all been focused on the setup and pairings, rightly. But if this is accurate, Team USA simply didn’t play the course they were playing for the Cup enough! This person gave permission for me to release this info. He/She wants it known how unserious the USA team took this event. There is real anger that the USA Team presents that they are 100% invested, when in reality that’s not true. Or at least they didn’t prepare like it’s a major. If this is true, I’m pissed and all team USA fans should be pissed.
