Meet Our Staff Spotlight: Dr. Daniel R. Whipple, MD Dr. Whipple is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is an active member of the AAO, ASCRS, and the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons. He is fully engaged in helping every patient possible.

Meet Our Staff Spotlight: Elise H. Smith, OD Dr. Elise Smith is Board Certified by the International Association of Board of Examiners in Optometry. She joined the Whipple Eye Center Staff in 1998.

Meet the Staff Spotlight: Robert A. McPike, OD. Dr. McPike studied optometry and received his O.D. degree from Indiana University. He has interests in treatment and management of ocular disease, which gave him vast clinical exposure to ocular disease and operative eye care.

Meet the Staff Spotlight: Daniel H. Spitzberg, MD Dr. Spitzberg brings expertise in all aspects of Ophthalmology, he has been in private practice since 1972. Dr. Spitzberg also performs the latest Laser Surgery for macular degeneration, diabetes mellitus, and histoplasmisis.

Our hearts are broken over the loss of Chase Lynch, @skippy_51, DCHS Class of 2019. Chase lettered in wrestling & football during his 4 years at Danville. He also made us smile a lot during those 4 years. Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts & prayers. 💔
