getting over perfectionism to me has boiled down to 1. no erasers 2. drawing in pen 3. no undo 4. i have to finish this drawing within a time limit. even if its shit. then i can just start a new one

i feel like a lot of videos or discussion around artfight and what it means to be an artist are kind of filled with empty platitudes meant for ppl who already find joy in art to say "yeah you fail at art if you have perfectionism" without explaining how to get out or avoid that.

I have very slow internet. I try to buy physical when i can for this exact reason. A lot of people are not in ideal situations like myself so seeing companies choosing to part way with physical releases is just so disappointing.
