LPD needs to identify this alleged shoplifter who was involved in an incident at Kohls that happened on January 15, 2026. The subject took multiple apparel items and left the store without paying for them. The value of the stolen merchandise was $336.

It is with great sadness that we share that retired Chaplain Russ Thompson passed away on March 6, 2026. Chaplain Russ Thompson served the Lexington Police Department and the @TownLexingtonSC community for fourteen years before his retirement in late 2024.
