@defeatcomfort @GunnyKulick @KeruboSk The problem is though is that many people have asked for help and have been let down - whether that's by the medical profession, family, friends or whoever,

@GunnyKulick @KeruboSk So many people get stuck like that. At least you’ve realised it Maybe make the first bit of the task really small, really easy so that it’s almost effortless. And that first step is all you have to do.

I want to talk about people who are healing on their own. No therapist, no strong support system, no one who fully understands what they’re carrying. Just them. Late nights, racing thoughts, and saving small pieces of comfort from strangers online. Finding understanding where real life falls short. They become their own support system, catching themselves when they fall, getting back up again and again. Not because it’s easy, but because they have no other choice. And most of it goes unseen. But we see you.

@LexisRunners @JohnHann04 I know, I know, Alexa. Yes, I've noticed that in the park, too - what's so fascinating on those screens that stops people actually being present in their own lives??! Seems like everywhere, on the Metro, in a waiting room, it's this...

This will upset a lot of people under the age of 40 ish…..but we have huge numbers of lazy, shit, delinquent parents in this country. 26% of 4 yr old kids stating school are not toilet trained. Teachers are spending an hour every day sorting out toilet accidents. Lots of these kids can’t and don’t clean their teeth or use a knife/fork/spoon. Many don’t know basic colours or numbers and couldn’t tell you the difference between red and blue, 1 and 3, a cow or a chicken, let alone be able to have an actual conversation. You wonder why our society is deteriorating….THIS is one of the major reasons…shit parents and shit parenting. There are no excuses….you’re crap!

@KingBobIIV Looked after my Mum who had dementia for 20 yrs. Never had any help from anyone. The system is often there to tick boxes rather than give any emotional/practical help. Sometimes you come across a wonderful person who goes above & beyond. But they are rare.

I had my first real, first hand, experience of dementia today, when the old lady I take shopping, whom I've grown to care for very much, was absolutely furious with me because she was insisting I'd thrown the duck (she didn't buy) out of the car window. It didn't matter what evidence I showed her that she hadn't bought a duck, or logic I tried to use to explain why on earth I would want to throw her duck out of the window, in that moment, she was adamant and spiteful and angry. 10 minutes later, she was back to her usual self, and knew nothing about the duck. It gave me an insight in to what it must be like to see someone you love going through this - enough of them still in there that you love them, and occasionally taken over by an irrational angry person, or someone that doesn't even remember you. So, all my love to those with, and living with, someone with dementia. If you have a spare fiver this month, there are many charities that help with respite and support xx Donate to Alzheimer's Society | Alzheimer's Society share.google/X97kbiR1ui82my…

How do MPs - literally elected by the public - constantly get away with falsely smearing ordinary, decent said public as “fascists” and “far-right”? It is utterly disgraceful. The majority of people attending this event @KimJohnsonMP will be everyday folk who are worried about the absolute state of this country and its direction of travel. They have also tried, repeatedly, to democratically request reduced immigration and elected MPs ignore them. In fact, they do the exact opposite. They are exasperated at the way & pace their communities are changing and they are terrified that they and their children are no longer safe. The way you talk about & regard them is disgraceful and is a big part of the reason many of you guys will soon be losing your jobs.
Kim Johnson@KimJohnsonMP

Stephen Yaxley-Lennon is telling his followers to be on their “best behaviour” for the upcoming Unite the Kingdom march – and yet he’s been handed the freedom of London. The Met’s stark & biased approach raises serious questions about whose voices are being prioritised.

@TerryTyler4 @JohnHann04 This is my pet hate too. Parents used to have conversations with their kids - even ones still learning to speak. Now mothers just scroll or talk on their phones. Same goes for dog walkers. Many miserable dogs on the end of a lead whilst the owner is on his/her phone.

@JohnHann04 Often when I sit on the bus, I see young mothers with their children in what used to be called pushchairs. Instead of talking to them about what they can see out of the window, etc, they're in deep scroll on their stupid phones.

British journalist and television presenter, Ranvir Singh opens up the real truth while discussing the Mandelson scandal: “I’m afraid it taps into that very deep feeling, that the people we vote for are not the people who are running the country. The people we vote for are the front face, a shop window, but there are these unknown, unelected, highly paid, very influential people who are more powerful than the prime minister. We see the tip of the iceberg. We think we’ve got a democracy that’s open and fair. We don’t.” Well said. 🎯

@ItsJustaRide @NiohBerg @Middlesaxon2 The thing is, a normal person doesn't need to have personal experience of something to have sympathy or empathy towards a victim of a heinous crime. The fact that this woman hasn't got any empathy is frankly deeply disturbing.

Unbelievable. A British woman was gangraped near a church in Epsom, and the church's first reaction is to condemn the locals for being angry about it. What is wrong with them?

This is probably going to ruffle some feathers but it has to be pointed out. Living a “comfortable life” or a “nice life” is not a human right. The state should not be required to ensure that you don’t have to sell your house or that you can afford comforts. £12,500 alone is not enough to live a comfortable life - but I think it is more than enough to survive. If you want to have a comfortable life in retirement, sell your house, earn some extra income, or save money before you retire.

@LexisRunners @annaroseridgway I would ask her why she doesn't focus on the recipients of non-contributory, non taxable benefits which are bestowed, ad infinitum, upon all and sundry, but I doubt if she's given that a modicum of thought. I suspect she's deliberately focused on scapegoating pensioners.

OUTRAGE: Epsom MP Says Locals Demanding Info on Gang R*pe Are the Real Reason Women Feel Unsafe Helen Maguire MP has lost the plot. She says women in Epsom don’t feel safe because people are gathering to demand answers about the gang r*pe outside the church. I think the reason women feel unsafe is because four r*pists are still on the loose and Surrey Police refuse to release any suspect descriptions or CCTV after days.

Explain this to me. Why is it that a gathering of mostly white working-class men protesting about a rape is met by a line of menacing riot cops, and yet a gathering of primarily non-white youths running riot on a high street is given the kid-glove treatment? Following the events in Epsom last night, this query should be on everyone’s lips. ✍️ Brendan O’Neill Article | spectator.com/article/epsom-…

This is Naz Shah. Labour MP for Bradford. Naz shared a post telling victims of Pakistani-Muslim grooming gangs to “shut up for the sake of diversity.” Now, Naz is claiming that she “fought grooming gangs before anyone else.” Naz is a liar. Utterly, utterly awful woman.

Yes, 💯, but let’s not kid ourselves about how we got here. Boris wasn’t perfect, far from it, but at least he had a MANDATE from the people. A stonking majority. Remember that? He was sold out not just by the opposition but his own party. Now we have this joyless, two-tier Stasi Starmer and his gang of open-borders Marxists currently selling out Britain. We went from Boris chaos to full-blown Stasi tyranny in record time. We are now saddled with Starmer and his regime, unaccountable, and hellbent on dismantling everything this country stands for. A government that treats its own citizens like the enemy while rolling out the red carpet for everyone else. But here’s the thing, Farage lit the fuse. He spent YEARS stoking the fire, handed Boris the keys, and walked away. He helped clear the path that ended with this treasonous Starmer regime.
