an update on $SEA. the team has been building at full speed, and the foundation had planned to kick off the first steps as part of our march 30th event. but @openseafdn is pushing back the timeline. a delay is a delay. i’m not going to dress it up, and i know how it lands. the reality is that market conditions are challenging across crypto right now, and $SEA only launches once. @openseafdn could force the original date, or we could ensure every piece is in place and make this moment what this community deserves. we gave a tremendous amount of thought to how to do right here. Friend drops mint link 2 min before launch. Minted at 0.069 ETH. Flipped 10 min later for 0.4 ETH → profit 0.33 ETH (~$670) I know artists and collectors frown on my ways haha, but it shows there is meaning to being attentive in the more niched art space. Even though I like the "safe iconic" art NFTs (Fidenza, Squiggles), I’m going to start minting and accumulating more work from unknown artists and holding some long term. I’ll use a budget of 5 – 10 ETH and any profit I do will likely just go to new mints. I’ll highlight some of the art I mint from time to time to give the artists some attention, but usually it’s a path with almost no volume, and some NFTs may sit dead in your wallet so I don't advise following me on that.

Yeah again too much hype and announcement of announcement of announcement and than execution bad. Look at xeet, they are just delivering gave out lots of money for free (card packs) and cards still rose in value. That's real demand and they didn't have abstract on their side Looks like a lot of Projects abstract is supporting fail, and those which don't get support are making it. Look first 5 Projects which launched on abstract and were giga hyped

I was severely underwhelmed and I am also down money as everyone else was also underwhelmed and sold before me lol I think the concept is fine and the app design is great but the execution, roll out and obsession with low tier web2 creators rather than starting with the base of hardcore web3 creators were all lacking. They can still turn it around though.

don't think you're a hater...I just think it's easy to talk and it's not easy to do ok, you could build the testnet version, but what about the curve maths, the 100% uptime, RPC balancing, hundreds of app store requirement back and forths, legal review? that is what that team had to do.
