Different strokes for different folks, but "Play Park" really didn't work well for me, and I'm not inclined to watch "Fulfill." With an unexpected abundance of GL options now airing, there are other things to prioritize, like "Enemies with Benefits."

I hate to say it, but that special ep of "Poisonous Love" had zero plot. I get the rush to produce additional content and keep fans engaged, but that wasn't necessarily the best use of resources. 🤷‍♀️

4) The point isn't that #ClaireBell is great because it has really well done sex scenes. It's great because the type of extensive planning, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness that went into those scenes permeates the entire series and elevates it.

3) Claire testing her nails against her tongue instead of her skin was so real. Someone thought through every second of the scene and made sure it was perfect. Then later in the ep, the heady, bold recklessness of love. The experimentation.

1) I don't think of #ClaireBell as a "GL;" that seems an oversimplification. Nor is it just a run of the mill entry in the women in prison genre. What makes "ClaireBell" unique is the minute care taken in every scene. The way the camera plays with light. The framing.

#ClaireBellFinalEP makes me sad because Kea, a Shakespearean villain, wanted her fate. She wanted to be punished b/c she believed she deserved it for failing. Three years later, she was still absorbing punishment out of a masochistic self-hatred. She believed she was unloveable.

After writing 6 books, I stopped to spend a year writing a web series instead. I had optimism it might actually get made, until I realized I was 2 years too late. The lesbian web series world has been so commercialized (in a good way!) the door to amateurs closed. Back to books?

2) Many production companies are trying to cash in on the fantastic success of the GL industry. But in a way, that economic pie is a fixed size--the more companies that try to get some, the smaller the slices they get. This will likely become a problem in the next year or two.

1) Thailand is about to enter a GL web series bubble. By bubble, I mean an investment to profit imbalance. There are 30+ series in production with 30+ more books optioned. YES, we're a big, global audience. But can the market support that many a year at those budgets? No.

I have to suspect that GMMTV will end up cancelling a show about someone who gender transitions for revenge, given it's almost 2026 and that's the type of storyline we would have seen in the early 2000s. I'm just shocked that NamtamFilm weren't like, "Guys, this is a bad idea..."
