With this ticket price issue, I have noticed a massive divide between certain e-fans and the rest of us. Liverpool as a fanbase is very welcoming, yes there are certain militant types who think people should only be a supporter if they are in that city (all clubs have those) but the majority of us are welcoming and enjoy the fact that there are fans around the country and around the world. I’ve personally met people at the ground from various countries and welcomed them, even on occasion helped someone get a ticket and somewhere to stay. People embrace the culture of the club and love it. Then there are loads of “fans” who put their bio location as “Anfield” but they have never been and will never go. They sit there online abusing local fans, calling us bin dippers, victims, murderers and all sorts of weird shit. The local fans and atmosphere at Anfield will have been what attracted them to “support” Liverpool in the first place. The “Player FC” fans can just be ignored because they’ll then “support” the club that player moves to if they ever leave. The other e-fans have been really abusive to local fans who are making noise about ticket prices, this issue does not affect them and it will never do. Nor will shirt prices, they either will never buy one or will buy fakes. All of that is fine, support whoever you want to support, but don’t sit online abusing the local fans and the fan culture because you simply won’t be welcomed like the normal fans who can’t go to the match for various reasons. If you’re screaming about local fans not being welcoming, or worse, using a race card, look at yourself. Ask yourself why you are getting replies that push back against your comments. I have had far too much noise in my feed from these type of people and so have others. If the rest of us start ignoring them, they’ll just shut the fuck up and fuck off. Concentrate on supporting the club and stop your divisive comments. YNWA

@Andrewfulla @JamesPearceLFC They revealed record high profits lately don't spew that shite of prices going up. The club is raking it in and they say their prices are going up what about all of us. Hard working class people. It's ok for the board but all of us have other prices skyrocketing.

@JamesPearceLFC I’ve supported Liverpool for 48 years and I am completely against this protest - everything has gone up and LFC has consistently frozen prices. Now they need to raise them and people want to protest - even with everything that’s going on with the club this season, poor form!

2010/2011 was our worst season ever along with 2015/2016 when we also finished 8th in Klopp’s first season.

We were two hours away from going into administration in 2010 and were 18th….

#LFC Great atmosphere at Anfield last night, arguably the best this season, however, only 11,200 of us Season Ticket Holders signed up for UCL games this season through the Auto Cup Scheme.....So......could it have been the tourists and day trippers making all the noise??!

Do you understand how bad things have to be for Liverpool fans to leave early? This is a fanbase that stayed and sang through some of the worst years in the club’s history. People don’t just walk out of Anfield lightly. Many supporters travel long distances, pay serious money for tickets, and plan their weeks around being there. When they start leaving before full time, it’s not because they suddenly don’t care, it’s because what they’re watching has become painfully difficult to sit through. And the booing, Do people realise how rare that actually is at Liverpool? This is a crowd that has built a reputation worldwide for backing the team relentlessly, even when things aren’t going well. Liverpool supporters are famous for lifting the players when they’re struggling, creating an atmosphere that can drag a team through difficult moments. For that same crowd to start voicing their frustration tells you just how far things have fallen. If fans aren’t excited, if they’re not on their feet urging the team forward, if the atmosphere feels flat, then maybe the conversation shouldn’t be about the supporters. Maybe the real question should be about the football they’re being asked to watch. Liverpool fans don’t expect to win every game. They’ve never demanded perfection. What they expect is effort, intensity, identity, something that reflects what the club is supposed to stand for. When that disappears, when the football becomes slow, lifeless, and uninspiring, frustration is inevitable. So before criticising the fans, maybe try understanding what it takes to push a crowd like that to the point of booing. Because when Liverpool supporters turn, it’s rarely without reason.
