We have left the Isle of White… on our way home!

Slightly more challenging to get Y6 up this morning @PGLTravel 🤣 The kids have stripped their beds (for some, this apparently went on the list of brand new experiences!) and had breakfast. Everyone is now climbing/abseiling or playing Aeroball; after lunch we’ll be off home!

Another fabulous day @PGLTravel in the bag! Loads of activities and even more food - including marshmallows at our campfire. We’re working on packing up for our departure tomorrow, but we have two activities and lunch before we set off!

We have a lovely sunny day @PGLTravel and we’ve started on activities, e.g. climbing, archery, beach walks! p.s. Room inspections have been surprisingly strong… no excuses for messy bedrooms from here on in!

Update on the disco: we’ve never had a Year 6 group that are so fast to get onto the dance floor! Backstreet Boys and Cotton Eyed Joe were particular favourites with the kids: excellent work, millennial parents!

Year 6 have had an amazing first day at @PGLTravel We’ve been lucky with the weather and it’s been (mostly!) dry today, so we got to do everything on our schedule 😀 Disco tonight, and they are turning out their outfits 🪩🕺🏻💃 @thesteptrust

We are proud to be supporting @BrighterB's 'Christmas for every child' campaign. If you would like to support, there will be a box on the playground for donations, at the start of the day, to collect chocolate selection boxes, advent calendars, chocolate coins etc. Thank you.

Our first celebration assembly of the year was very special: it was the first time everyone saw our amazing new lights (and disco ball!) in the main hall 🪩 We've also installed some stage curtains for dramatic effect! Thanks to our amazing PTA for their support! @thesteptrust

‼️SGN will be CLOSING HOMESDALE ROAD, Bromley from Monday 22/07/2024 whilst they complete gas main replacement work FOR 4 WEEKS. The road will be closed at the railway bridge, in between the junction of Waldo Road and the entrance to the Tesco superstore. 🧵

All groups are just finishing up their final activities of the trip. What a blast we've all had (including the teachers!). #PGL
