The Kaduna State Local Government Reform Law 2018 provides that Local Governments shall develop a culture of participatory governance. In that vein, earlier today Sanga LGA held its 2025 Budget Townhall Meeting with relevant stakeholders in attendance. @mlgkad @KADPBC

As part of the 2025 budget preparation process, on Thursday 12th September, Chikun LGA held its annual budget town hall meeting in preparation for the Local Government Budget 2025-2027. #CitizensEngagement @KADPBC @mlgkad

As part of effort to improve service delivery in education, @Lgam_Kad and @kadbeam on Wednesday 11th paid an advocacy visit to the Honourable Commissioner @KADPBC on abandoned projects across Kaduna. The team was welcomed by the Permanent Secretary and the Director M&E.

On 9th September @Lgam_Kad in collaboration with @kadbeam paid a combine advocacy visit to the Office of the Auditor General for Kaduna State. The aim of the visit was to present findings from the earlier tracked uncompleted projects in the education sector across state.

On 10th and 11th September @Lgam_Kad participated in the Education Sector Implementation Plan (SIP) validation facilitated by @Kaduna_MoE with support from PLANE. The validation process provided an opportunity to ensure the SIP is comprehensive and achievable.

With support from @perlnigeria, @Lgam_Kad is currently having a one-day technical session to develop a resource mobilization framework for the mechanism. This aims to identify the mechanism's current resource mobilization practices, identify gaps, and develop a robust framework

Currently ongoing is a 2-Day Functionality Assessment Workshop of Kaduna State Accountability Mechanisms. The assessment aims to strengthen the mechanism to function effectively and influence education sector reforms by complementing government efforts through engagements.

@Lgam_Kad participated in the technical session from April 19th to 23rd to align the Local Government Areas with the SUSTAIN Agenda (Kaduna State 2023 Full-Year Budget Performance Report Analysis). The session was organized by @mlgkad with support from @perlnigeria. @KADPBC

Earlier today the TWG on Open Budget OGPKaduna SAPIII in collaboration with @Lgam_Kad presented a list of social audit teams made up of CDC Champions to Kaduna State Auditor General to be part of the performance audit visit in the 23 LGAs. @ogpkaduna @KADPBC
