Had a blast at the birthday celebration / group reunion for my undergrad advisor over the weekend and a bonus was finding my old lab notebooks in the group room. E-notebooks are more efficient, but there’s something special about revisiting your handwritten data 25 years later.

The Amazon rainforest doesn't just remove ~2 billions tons of CO2 every year. It also moves ~20 billions tons of water through evotranspiration, the so-called "flying rivers", critical for planetary balance. I wish more people knew this.
