What I understand is that the plan to use Dube as Finisher was forced by the absence of MS. We don't have the experience in the lower order, CSK saw Dube doing the same for India, so they tried him at 6 or 7. But it has clearly failed. Rather just give him his number 4 slot, more specifically Spin bashing role back, let Brevis take the lower order role. Put Kartik at 5 & let him play freely. I strongly believe that CSK will take big learnings from this loss.

Sarfu’s entry point is very confusing. He is a pace basher but he doesn’t get to bat in the powerplay and the team doesn’t trust him to play in the slog overs. So he is forced to bat spin against whom he is absolutely poor against.
