Loss of non-renewable phosphorous (P) from land to rivers has polluted waters + threatened food production. Has P loss decreased with better management? TP loss has risen in US rivers 1980-2019, largely due to rising river flow, albeit declining TP conc. pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pn…
