@timdavies_uk @ForcesNews I would appreciate it. Just watched your video on the Reds. @FUDdaily made a good post about the retreat of the armed forces from public life and whilst it would feel wrong to use a foreign a/c for Reds, they are one of the last public engagement elements we have.

@ENGLISHKIT21 @Landeur He was like 32 and as far as I know he was not a father. He was a liberal gamer who was basically just anti-feminist and got his kicks out of being a bit edgy. I didn't even know who he was until around 2019.

@Landeur Carl was like 40 in 2014, do you really think someone can drastically change there political views at that age or is he just a grifter? Doesn’t help that he behaves like his views are correct and anyone that disagrees is a unintelligent pleb.

I don’t really give a shit what Carl Benjamin tweeted 10 years ago because I entirely believe his conversion and he has done a lot for this space. Keep sharing 2014 tweets like it’s a gotcha all you like though.

@bluemilkpatriot @Landeur I don't think mud-slinging on twitter is a good way to have this discussion, however, and I don't doubt there is a small element of hesitancy regarding the word 'nationalism' and its connotations with regards to marketing Restore to the wider public. Patriotism makes more sense.

@bluemilkpatriot @Landeur His issue stems from the fact that nationalism is a political ideology which promotes loyalty to the nation or nation-state. It's very easy for this to lead to the conflation of the state and nation, and render the cart being put before the horse.

Feel like this guy has waited his whole life to say this. Incredibly eloquent and accurate appraisal of the failure of Western elites.

The Boeing / Saab T-7 Red Hawk is in pole position to replace the RAF’s ageing Hawk trainer. Conceived as 5th / 6th generation training aircraft with fully digitised architecture, it would be ideal for training both F-35 and Tempest crews. A tie-up with BAE Systems will include UK assembly. And, of course, a certain aerobatic team could use it.

@timdavies_uk @ForcesNews There's no British alternative though. I remain unconvinced by Aeralis but I know you think it had legs. So either we resurrect it with a BIG cash injection before they've even got an aircraft off the ground or we scrap the Reds because there's no British jet?

@defencewithac This or T50 is my preferred solution in exactly the manner which you describe. Trainer, light-fighter, display. Get your money's worth and buy enough so it's worthwhile.

@twittorix @FUDdaily 😂 it is depressing but there is a lot of good work that goes on. Retarded decisions by senior officers and inconsistent direction from the MOD and HM Gov doesn't help. Ultimately it's a failure to define strategy and stick with it long term

@Liam08612451 @FUDdaily It's getting to the point where we should scrap the military, we have the 5th highest global defence budget and nothing to show for it, an ineffective armed forces and a useless MOD.

@AcademicAgent_X The tutorial phase is quite slow. I almost put it down and didn't pick it back up the first time I played. It went on to become my favourite game of all time, completed multiple times+expansions etc. (I'm not a 'gamer' FWIW, I just like solid single player story driven games)

Thank you @ClarkeMicah for reciting that poem on Question Time all those years ago, it never left me, I think of it often and made sure to memorize it. My culture and country may be vandalized every day, but the things we learn by heart remain out of reach.

This guy's patronising and confused lecturing of Britons on their identity might unironically be alienating people in wildly unintended ways. He couldn't even do Britons the courtesy of mentioning something meaningful like Shakespeare or the Magna Carta. No, just vibes and lager and fish & chips or something. This is the same bunch of hand-waving feel-good vagaries some Norwegian socialist lectured X on earlier today ("oh a Norwegian is... Uh... Like someone who lives in Norway and increases GDP or something" ok buddy, lol, lmao even). You'd think, in exchange for indulging in the deconstruction of your very identity that he would do you the dignity of citing something that spoke to the Anglo heart. So let me do it for you, Mr Jeevun: Into my heart an air that kills From yon far country blows: What are those blue remembered hills, What spires, what farms are those? That is the land of lost content, I see it shining plain, The happy highways where I went And cannot come again. And to all my new Norwegian follower friends, I hope this small token of England finds you and your beautiful people well. You are not alone, quite to the contrary, we are all together. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
