Reception children have enjoyed accessing a range of 'invitations to play' within our outdoor learning provision. A popular activity in Acorns class is painting. Today, children grated chalks & mixed with water to create their own paint for their large scale pictures. @DSATEYFS

The children in preschool @Accprimary milked Daisy the cow. We have been learning about farm animals, we watched a clip on milking a cow by hand, then the children took it in turns having a go at 'milking' Daisy. It was lots of fun. #FarmLife #EYFS @DSATEYFS

Preschool children welcomed Year 3 to Captains Cabin @Accprimary earlier this week for their 'Reading Buddy' session. They shared familiar picture books & stories; with all children engaged in a shared love of reading @DSATEYFS @DSATLiteracy

Reception children enjoy spending time outdoors @Accprimary - gardening; reading & drawing; and water transportation & exploration. Children enjoy being outdoors in all weathers and we are fortunate to have both open spaces and sheltered areas in our outdoor provision @DSATEYFS
