I fell taking this photo just as my mam pulled into the driveway. It was kind of slow descent, sliding on the frost while hanging on to the bushes to lessen the impact when I hit the ground. I couldn't stop laughing at her reaction. She was looking at me like I'd lost the plot 😂

@Killybegsgirl Was there a couple of years ago - not so hot that day. didn't do the tour either, but don't think it matters on a casual trip. also went to Herculaneum - smaller, wealthier, poignant sights in both towns - real people lived there

Pompeii for a day. The heat was immense. I’ve always wanted to go there since we touched on it in history at school. I had no idea what a massive town it was to be honest. How the whole town got covered in ash is just so tragic, obviously, and so so fascinating.

Hot day! I don’t need the Sara Stedy [sic] anymore. I can walk aided, and I’m practising sliding into a car as a passenger. Arm is able to do lots of things, but no coordination as yet, and I’m still numb all down right side. Literally a step in the right direction, though! 🌞

One morning recently, driving to work, I heard a couple from Longford on Today FM with @davetodayfm taking part in a quiz. Dave had been in Wexford the day before and visited some hidden gems whilst there. He asked the couple had Longford any similar spots worth checking out.
