@jasonnisse I was William at birth. To stop people automatically calling me Bill I started using the family diminutive Liam when I left school. Finally sorted out a deed poll 40 years later

I am staying in a @Marriott hotel in Abu Dhabi. everytime I come to my room they've done something else to blow me away... cable tidies, a bookmark and even a dosette box for my pills. Plus every staff member addresses me by name. Stayed in the polar opposite in Cancun last year!
