Has @RuthCoppingerSP @pb4p got nothing to say about her own colleague and PB4P election candidate Síomha Hennessey' putrid comments about Ryan Casey, attacked simply for having an opinion on his girlfriend Ashling Murphy’s brutal murder at the hands of a man who should never have been allowed entry to #Ireland? Has she anything to say about this young man Ryan Casey's face being superimposed on the murderers face or Síomha Hennessey's face being superimposed on Ashling Murphy's face, in an absurd bid to make her seem like as much of a victim as Ashling (because of a few bad comments she got in response to her vile tirades).

🚨🚨🚨 The corrupt establishment is too predictable.

The last few days there has been an astroturf attempt to dampen these protests by the political far left, using cries of far right interference and 11th hour claims that they care about the protests. This is because the ordinary decent working class people of Ireland stood with these men. For that they have been called far right. As a result of their interference, the momentum is stalling. These men, like the one in the video here, can’t afford to take the foot off the peddle (and quite literally cannot afford to keep their foot on it). They need our help. Now. No more excuses. Petitions and letters to politicians won’t help. We all need to do more. These men feed us. We owe them allegiance.

Underhanded Behaviour

From today's edition of The Guardian, Irish journalist and author @rorycarroll72 tiresomely rewrites Irish history. We were always a multicultural, diverse society. That appears to be the message here. Also, 1920s Ireland was so "globalised", didn't you know? Problem is it appears the truth is stretched in that headline, therefore the reader is being a misled to a degree unless they read the entire article. If you read down far enough (journalists know, most people won't read past a headline) it is stated: "The number of foreigners was small, but the census showed this smattering of British, American, French, Italian, German, Egyptian and other nationalities popping up around Ireland." Right. So there was a small number of non nationals. Mostly from countries that did not have cultures antithetical to ours. So not really "such a mix of people" then? In recent years there have been several attempts by different media publications to present an Irish past that didn't really exist so that we will accept the current unwanted reality we face. It feels very much in my opinion like propaganda and gaslighting. I'm tired of it.

Fuel crisis can be blamed on the Irish government although they point fingers at other countries: BARRYROE - Ireland’s largest undeveloped offshore oil find in the Celtic Sea - could have delivered domestic energy, but was never brought to production. In 2023, the Irish government blocked key approvals, effectively shelving it. Despite ongoing reliance on imported fossil fuels today, "green" policy has prioritised climate targets over energy security leaving resources like this untapped while Ireland still needs the fuel. This boat is going through Mornington today - looks like an oil rig not a fishing boat? Anyone know?
