You'd need to reduce the craft:space ratio by a large factor to see more than one in a single frame - Space is just so massive!

@TiciaAIM @rachel_reviews For me it was too similar in obviously the language barrier, but also the "lone scientist" having to solve the problem, and the persistent flashbacks. Both had different vibes in the end and I appreciate them both as individual films

@rachel_reviews The tone is completely different, but the similarity I saw for Arrival was a first contact scenario and how he was slowly figuring out the language, but both movies have different emphasis.

Project Hail Mary has very little in common with Arrival, Gravity or Interstellar yet I keep seeing those comparisons. The tone is completely different from those films. It'd be like saying 3 random films are the same because they all take place on earth...
