Young Liberals are absolutely clear: any attempt to reduce the standard of care offered to trans young people is an utter disgrace. The Government should be making treatment more equal, more accessible and faster - with some young trans people waiting nearly a decade.

I'm of course not privy to whether it has been given to people who have or haven't been granted asylum, but either way it doesn't help with any civil debate to be had on immigration.

@LibDemBrend @MikeEOCarroll @AndrewRTDavies I thought it was to people who had been granted asylum, so no longer asylum seekers. Not to mention that the number is so low that to publish anything detailed about it risks identifying those people

The Conservatives in Wales have gone full Trump / UKIP. There is no truth to this statement by their leader. It is dangerous disinformation. Welsh Labour are incompetent but let's attack them on the facts not bizarre untruths.

@AndrewRTDavies you have not bothered to engage with care-experienced young people. If you did, and carried out some fact-finding you would know the trial £1600 basic income is for eligible care-leavers. Some of whom are vulnerable, young asylum seekers. Cease and desist.
