On Friday 13th March, I had to say goodbye to my @LourdesSec #SchoolLibrary where I'd spent 10 wonderfully weird years. I didn't expect the send off I'd get from all the wonderful (also wonderfully weird) Library regulars & from the staff. Thank you all so much 🥰😢

For the #EmotionalSupportPlushies Week last day, the plushies went rogue to explore the Library and do some quiet reading

For my last 3 days as @LourdesSec #SchoolLibrarian, it's the 2nd #SchoolLibrary #EmotionalSupportPlushies Week. It was a relaxed start & tomorrow there'll be #Storytime & a #TeddyBearsPicnic. All pupils & staff are invited to bring their toys along to join in 🥰

Can't quite believe it, but 10 years ago today, if my Facebook Memories are correct, I began my new job/reign of terror as @LourdesSec #SchoolLibrarian. I was somewhat nervous (or terrified), but the last decade has been mostly chaotic joy, wouldn't have missed it for anything.

You'd expect the end of a busy school week to be quiet after the final bell, but not in the @LourdesSec #SchoolLibrary! The #CrochetClub grows every week. In the #SchoolLibraryDND club, Boris the pig ran amok in 1 game, while another new pupil DM started a zombie-themed game.

This time last year, the @LourdesSec #SchoolLibrary had its 1st #DrawADinosaurDay celebration. It was so successful that it's back this year! Come to the Library tomorrow to meet some dinosaurs, read some dinosaur books, & join in the competition to design a new dinosaur 🦕🦖

The Christmas Holidays have begun! The @LourdesSec #SchoolLibrary had a busy last 2 days, but today at 2.30pm, we, in Bob "Kermit" Cratchit's words, started closing down for Christmas. My last act before locking up was to "light" the last candles on the book-themed #AdventWreath

Huge congratulations 🎊 to the @LourdesPerfArts staff & all the pupils on stage & behind the scenes for another fantastic @LourdesSec Christmas concert. I was blown away by the talent once again & am in a proper festive mood now 🥰🎄

So #BookWeekScotland is officially over, but in the @LourdesSec #SchoolLibrary the activities & competition are not over yet. Pupils across all year groups have added their definitions of friendship to the Library #Friendship tree, with some funny, interesting & adorable ideas.

The @LourdesSec #SchoolLibrary #CrochetClub got off to an excellent start yesterday! The pupils are very talented & enthusiastic. Huge thanks to school office crochet queen Anne who was a huge help when I couldn't even manage one stitch! 😂🥰🪡🧶

@LourdesPEdept A brilliant costume idea, and you all look amazing. I'm just - and don't take this personally 😂 - I'm so glad I didn't bump into any of you today as she's one book characters who terrifies me to my very core 😱

Talked myself hoarse at tonight's @LourdesSec Study Skills event. It was great getting to share my research nerd side with pupils & their families, showcasing all the resources & experience available in the #SchoolLibrary to support them through assignments, dissertations & exams
