My mom turned her entire frontyard into a dried out riverbed. She is 76, and she did all of the work herself. Isn't it spectacular? My mom is a really talented lady.

This is beautiful. We always think of the Mom missing the affection from when kiddos were little. I’m sure fathers miss it just as much. The dads who immediately started patting & rocking, muscle memory kicked in. 🥹 Kudos to the dads who immediately put that phone down. My daughter became my little shadow and snuggler. But, before her, my son was my shadow and snuggler and now he’s a grown man. You never know when the last hug will be the last hug. 💯 Do you think dads could use a hug like this from their sons? Do you have a dad that would do this? Or, are you a dad that would do this with your grown son?

Sarah Paulson wears dollar bill over her eyes to call out the ‘One Percent.’ The actress, who is worth an estimated $12 million, used her outfit to call out the world’s elite while attending the $100,000 per person Met Gala.

The Met Gala is gross. Tickets are $100k. Tables are $350k. Rich people pretend to be socialists. Vomit. It never actually mattered and now it matters even less.

In Romans 5:3, Paul tells Christians that their “tribulation” produces perseverance. Today, how can we respond to our distressing circumstances in a way that glorifies God? Click on the link for more.

The Biblical Man@Biblicalman

You dragged them to church. You think that is discipleship. It is not. That is attendance. Discipleship is training. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6. Not drop off. Not outsource. Not hope the youth pastor fixes what Dad neglected all week. Train. The world understands this better than most Christian fathers. It does not need one big speech. It only needs access. A phone in the bedroom. A feed with no father watching. A song in the car. A friend with a dead-eyed father. A private browser. A little secrecy. And while Dad tells himself the kids are fine because they were in church Sunday, the world keeps preaching. Every day. Every hour. Without shame. Without apology. Without asking permission. Deuteronomy 6 did not say: “Thou shalt outsource thy children to a program.” It said: “And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children…” When? “When thou sittest in thine house…” “when thou walkest by the way…” “when thou liest down…” “when thou risest up.” That is not a church calendar. That is the house. The road. The bed. The morning. The ordinary traffic of family life. Your children should hear Scripture when nobody is impressed. They should hear you pray when nobody is filming. They should watch you repent when you sin. They should know what your house refuses. Not because Dad is moody. Because God is holy. Some children rebel against real light. I know that. This is not written to crush faithful parents with prodigals. But some children never rejected biblical Christianity. They rejected the hollow version they saw at home. Rules without repentance. Church without fear of God. A father who demanded obedience while making peace with his own compromise. So yes. Take them to church. Drag them if you must. But do not call that the whole job. Your child does not need a religious chauffeur. He needs a father. Full piece on Substack ↓

@Lib_Laugh_Love And delicious! I usually make the birthday cakes for my family, so it is an extra special treat to get one from my favorite grocery store bakery. They really put the love into it.
