The meeting also provided space for continued discussions on group registration, leadership, accountability, and member participation as the group works towards building a stronger and more sustainable peer support structure.

Our Young Mothers Support Group in Olkeri held their bi-monthly session focused on strengthening financial literacy, saving practices, and planning for long-term wellbeing and stability.

We larticipated in the Ngong Medical Camp (24th April), reaching 1000+ residents alongside 35+ partners. Opened by H.E. Joseph Ole Lenku, the camp delivered essential medical services, with LIBAC providing mental health support.

On 25th April, We spent the day at the Run for Oloolua Forest organized by the State Department for Irrigation in collaboration with the Kenya Forest Service, the run focused on mobilizing support for the fencing and restoration of the forest.

A thoughtful way of giving back, and a great learning moment for us too. We value this continued partnership with MAS Kenya and what it allows us to do together, reach young people in ways that are engaging, relevant, and lasting.

Grateful to have partnered with MAS Kenya for a mentorship session with about 40 young people, the children of their employees. The day blended practical learning (financial management, goal setting) with creativity and joy; painting, dancing, mentorship and shared meals.

LIBAC engaged Olkeri Secondary School’s Board and teachers during the holidays in a team-building session addressing key school challenges. We begin support in Term 2 through SBCC and a school-based counsellor.
