For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:   And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. 2 Corinthians 5:14-15

But God commended his love toward us in that WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, Christ died for us. And that is the only reason why I’m not going to hell, and you don’t have to either.

Anyone who knows much of anything about the Athena Strand case can probably agree that the sins of Tanner Horner are heinous. As a mother of two young girls, I find them particularly abhorrent. But did you know that your sin is also heinous and abhorrent in God’s eyes? ⬇️

Yes. Tanner Horner deserves the sentence of death that he received. He deserves hell, too. But guess what: so do you. You and I have transgressed God’s law. We’ve broken His commandments. We’ve sinned against him and each other. We’ve lied, stolen, envied, hated, lusted. ⬇️

It’s true. God is holy, perfect, and just. We are sinful, deceptive, and undeserving. Yet Christ took all our sins upon Him when he died on the cross. God’s perfect son became so abhorrent that God turned His back. Jesus cried out: “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” ⬇️

If evolution is the origin of life, and therefore language, why are all languages complex and equally capable of communicating relevant ideas? Often, tribal groups have languages more grammatically complex than those of more “civilized” or “evolved” cultures.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.” This is the beginning of my personal journal as I ponder the numberless ways creative design is evident, specifically in communication and the speech apparatus.

While I’m recommending books for Christian kids, I ought to throw out some recommendations for my mom’s KJV Bible practice books. @GoodAndRightPub offers books for learners of all ages: handwriting practice with KJV verses for kids and KJV vocabulary builders for adults.

Eager to get my hands on a copy of this first book in a series of Christian biographies for beginner readers. Authored by a friend of mine and illustrated by another Christian young lady. William Tyndale and the English Bible a.co/d/2ievLMa

I love the point that the languages were “confounded,” not “confused” at Babel.

Thousands of languages in the world and yet they share similar structures, shapes, and functions. It’s almost as if… they were authored by the same creator. 🤔

Of the millions of species on planet earth, only one has “evolved” to have complex communicative abilities including communication through body language, speech, and writing. Why? We didn’t evolve, we were created. We were given the gift of language to be used for God’s glory
