whimsy is actually a form of resistance against a world that wants us to be miserable

when i have a bad day but i remember that three years ago this would have been the best day in a long time

It’s almost like earth was perfectly created for human beings, literally water falls from the sky and food grows on trees, but somehow we find ourselves trapped in a machine that requires credit scores and a 40 hour work week for existence.

Find every single thing to be celebrated. Do this intentionally. Life becomes heavier as time goes by. You're not gonna survive if you keep choosing to only see the dark.
