A message for all the homies that watch TNS marvel. There has been nothing I've enjoyed more in my life than sitting at this desk on Friday nights for the last 6 years. Hanging out with my brothers, watching my favorite game, getting to be myself, and seeing all the friends we've made in the chat having a good time is absolutely the pinnacle of my life. Thank you for letting me do the thing that I love. I know nothing is forever, and sometimes that can be sad to think about, but I hope we get to keep doing this for a while longer. Fridays are for marvel.

Mashing/abare/attacking at disadvantage is one of the most important parts of any fighting game, and as such, should not be defaulted to having a negative connotation. The full understanding of such has always been one of the biggest things gatekeeping mid level from high level.

Finally home from working Combo Breaker. Glad to be back after two weeks away. Big congrats to the hard working people who make the event possible. This is actually the first time I’ve ever gotten a picture with just Rick after years of working for him, and I wanted to take a moment to talk about him a bit, because we too often don’t give people their flowers until they’re gone. I’ve been attending CB since its inception in 2015 (and UFGT since 2012). I’d always known of Rick, but never really interacted with him until 2019, when we got off to a rocky start. Even with that, he’s gone out of his way to offer me assistance, guidance, and wisdom throughout my journey. He’s been a mentor, a friend, and even the creator of the best TNS shirt we’ve ever had (TNS Chicago iykyk). Working for him has helped me become a better person and a better event organizer. He was the first person I called after my late wife passed, and he has been there for me countless times without fail whenever I needed someone to talk to. He’s one of the few people I credit with giving me the opportunity and/or inspiration to pursue my passion in the FGC, and I definitely would not have made it this far without him. Thank you @TheHadou
