At 4:50 p.m., the bells of St. Augustine Church in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, will toll in remembrance of the victims of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash.   Hockey is woven into the fabric of communities across Canada, and Humboldt is no exception. Eight years later, the weight of that loss is still felt deeply.    Today, we remember the victims, and hold their families, teammates, loved ones, and the entire Humboldt community in our hearts. #HumboldtStrong

Today, Mark Carney announced a new partnership with Ontario to lower development charges for builders, and lower taxes for home buyers. We’re tackling the housing crisis from every angle — so we can build up the housing supply and bring down costs for Canadians.

We are reducing taxes and fees for new homes in Ontario by up to $200,000. Premier @fordnation and I just announced a new partnership to lower costly development charges, cut taxes on new homes across the province, and build more transit infrastructure to reduce commute times.

With the National School Food Program, our new Liberal government is ensuring 400,000 more kids every year get the healthy meals they need in school — and delivering real savings for families across Canada.
