INQUIRY UPDATE on Miss Mbali Shinga’s case by the NFP for defying the party mandate 🧑⚖️
A preliminary report regarding the three-month disciplinary process has reached a final stage.
The charges brought against her were heard, and she was found guilty on all counts. (Preliminary Ruling A)
The Final Ruling (B) will be issued on or before 15 April 2026.
The NFP says it followed its constitution to ensure a fair and proper process.

This is the same CIC who stood in solidarity with Ndlozi during one of his most difficult moments, even attending and supporting him through the burial of his mother. Yet, when the moment called for simple compassion, even something as basic as offering condolences, there was silence. Now, suddenly, we are expected to celebrate gestures of convenience? It does not work like that. Political consistency and human decency cannot be switched on and off depending on the moment. Those who wish to defend this contradiction are free to do so, but they must do so without expecting all of us to abandon principle.

The MK Party in Gauteng was unable to pay constituency staff salaries last year after R2.6-million in party funds were diverted to finance a trip to Ghana undertaken by party president Jacob Zuma – triggering a financial crisis that has since spiralled into a widening
internal dispute.
According to party insiders with direct knowledge of the matter, the salary shortfall around September prompted an urgent review of party finances. It was during this process that officials uncovered that R2.6-million had been transferred from provincial structures to the party’s national office.
Sources say the funds were used to cover travel costs for Zuma and his delegation on a trip to Ghana, with the payment made to a travel agency.
