@OG_GeorgyB @RFenell @danwootton I’ve worked in a Cat C prison and this is how it for their own protection. They are escorted everywhere. He wouldn’t last a minute. I’ve got to say these prisoners often look very weird and behave in weird ways. He’ll be with people with their own punishment regime

Used @grok for this info about my grandmother: Edith Reeve Angel was from Clapham, Surrey, England, and the Reeve surname traces further back in the English line (e.g., as granddaughter of Elizabeth Reeve of Totnes, Devon). When Elon was born, I searched my family names to find his second name, Reeve.

Iqbal Mohamed became emotional in Parliament while opposing proposals to ban first-cousin marriage, arguing that such a ban would amount to “Islamophobia” because cousin marriage is part of his culture. If First Cousin Marriage causes demonstrable harm, should it be protected from regulation simply because it is framed as “cultural”? I say No it doesn’t belong in our civilised society and if it’s something you believe that much in then go to a country where it’s supported and even encouraged because that’s NOT BRITAIN!
