After weeks of reading & discussing the shortlisted books, our #WKGSY9 & #WKGSY10 Carnegie Medal Shadowing Group watched the live stream of 2022 Yoto Carnegie Greenaway Awards ceremony. Congratulations to Carnegie Medal winner Katya Balen for her novel October, October.

#WKGSY7 have been developing their library/research skills with our Librarian. They've been discovering the Dewey Decimal System and using Eclipse.net to search the library catalogue for a variety of resources.

Support our amazing #WKGSY7 pupils reading for #Readathon at readforgood.org/sponsor to help @ReadforGoodUK get books to children in hospital. This will take place between 1st-15th May. Sponsor forms will be given out this week during English Lessons @WestKirbyGS
