As pictured, the Royals will wear their royal blue jerseys with KANSAS CITY across the chest for today’s game. First time wearing royal blue at home since 2008. It’s been one of the road jerseys (and still is), but the team will also wear them at home for select games this year.

During my last year in Dodge City, they hired a new men’s basketball coach at Dodge City Community College - a former K-State player named Brad Underwood. I was impressed with him then and more so now. The man has paid his dues.

Brad Underwood started his career at Dodge City (Ks.) Community College. Three years Dayton Beach CC. Took 27 years to get his first Division I head coaching job. Now he is taking Illinois to its first Final Four since 2005.

Love this from #Illini head coach Brad Underwood - asked if he has any issue/finds it unfair to have to play Houston IN Houston in the Sweet 16.
"I could care less... I'm an old JUCO ball coach. I drove on 16 passenger fans. I drove from Dodge City, Kansas to Mesa, Arizona for a basketball game... If you had told me back then that I'm getting to coach basketball in the Sweet 16 and play Houston - I would sign up for it, I would crawl to get there."
Says regardless of where the game is, Illinois would/will need to play well to beat the Cougars.

For those asking about if Wichita State will play in the NIT, Paul Mills leaves no doubt. "Basketball players want to play basketball." "I don't think our season is over yet." Shockers could be a prime candidate to host a first-round NIT game at Koch Arena.

@klseaboldt @AlTheBoss03 That 1977 ALCS Game 5 loss is still probably the most excruciating loss I've ever seen in person. Crushed me as a 15 yr old. Thought they had that game won. Confident they would have won the World Series that year....and yes, Busby was a stud and would have made a huge difference
