His lawyer printed my Instagram photos and held them up in court. Asked why I wore crop tops. Asked why I drank that night. Asked why I didn’t scream louder. He replayed my police interview and pointed out every time I hesitated, every time I cried, every time my timeline wasn’t perfectly linear. “If it was traumatic,” he said, “why can’t she remember clearly?” Sitting there while strangers debated my pain like it was a group project felt like being stripped again. My messages were projected on a screen. My body was described in detail. My character was picked apart like that was the real crime. He walked out on bail. I walked out with panic attacks. That’s why some women don’t report. Because even with bruises. Even with screenshots. Even when you do everything “right.” You still have to survive the assault twice, once in private, and once in public, just to maybe be believed.

@4yuxan @WanHohenHeim I guess we view Max's personality slightly different then. Which is why both choices in the original game are so important! To me Max would never sacrifice the Bay. But I have read so many threads on people who view it the opposite - that Max would never sacrifice Chloe. :D

I dislike the implications of Max's final page in Bae and Bay route. In Bae its "I LET the guilt from the storm to tear me apart" versus In Bay "The guilt from Chloe's death NEARLY tore me apart" See where DeckNine's mindest is? 1/⬇️

@WanHohenHeim I can see why some people view the active choice of tampering with time, knowingly causing a storm that kills many, can be seen as evil. I would call it more selfish than evil but yeah... I am just glad we got another chance to see Chloe and Max in action together afterall :D

@WanHohenHeim Okay as a dev it is not really cool to post this. Both endings are valid. But so is everyones opinions on the ending - the devs included. Know the quote "A villain lets the world burn to save you but a hero lets you go to save the world."? I guess they reference that. 1/2

@4yuxan @WanHohenHeim with time and just let things happen is the character growth she needed. I view the Bae-ending as a kind of selfish ending. It also just doesn't hit as hard as the bay-ending. As I said: I love the angst and the pain 😂

@4yuxan @WanHohenHeim To me Max is the most heroic of all LiS-Characters. She wants to use her powers for good and good only. When Max uses her powers to save Chloe and therefore causing a storm that kills many it is an active decision to kill everyone over her bf imo. Choosing not to tamper 2/3

@exline_m45026 @CNviolations Meat eater here. I actually met more insufferable anti-vegans than I have vegans. All my vegan friends respect everyones individual decision to eat meat or not. But I am confronted with meat eaters who harass my friends constantly or who just make fun of vegans.

Yeah but 9 out of 10 vegans are just virtue signaling insufferable pussies who do it to make themselves appear superior. f they left meat eaters alone this would be egregious but they don't so it's not. It's also incredibly rude to go to a non-vegan household and expect them to cater to your diet. Bring your own food if you have an allergy. I'm with dad he knew more than we do.

@WanHohenHeim So, I can understand that they had to break up. And I am happy we got a new game. Seeing Max and Chloe together again was just amazing. Nostalgia hit hard! So I am not angry at D9. They did the best they could to make another game. And the conversations are written amazingly!

@WanHohenHeim I always preferred the bay-ending as I love the angst and find it more in character for Max. The new writing made the bae-ending even less attractive for me as Chloe LEAVES Max. Its now the break-up-route for me. That said: To be able to make Reunion they HAD to separate them 1/2
