Today we opened our new joint aeromedical base with @RoyalFlyingDoc in Mt Isa. The facility, funded by the @ausgov and @QldGov, enables both organisations to operate cohesively from the same location, improving service delivery across the region.

Our Brisbane crew yesterday located a vessel after it sent a distress beacon 50km off the Gold Coast. The helicopter monitored the vessel, which contained five people, while waiting for the Tweed Heads Water Police to arrive and tow the vessel to safety. Tasked by @QldAmbulance.

Our Bundy crew yesterday airlifted a child to hospital after she was involved in a vehicle and pedestrian incident on K’gari. The child was treated for serious shoulder and pelvic injuries and taken to Queensland Children's Hospital in a stable condition. Tasked by @QldAmbulance.

Our Toowoomba crew yesterday airlifted a man to hospital after a motorcycle crash in the Somerset region. The man was treated for a leg injury and airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition. Tasked by @QldAmbulance.

Last night, LifeFlight officially opened its new Sunshine Coast base in a major boost for aeromedical capability in the region. The launch coincided with the LifeFlight Sunshine Coast gala, which raised $525,000 for LifeFlight's free trauma training.

The Bundy crew today airlifted an injured man after he was trapped by floodwater on a farm near Baffle Creek. A man in his 80s was treated for a medical condition and flown to Bundaberg Airport before being road-transported to Bundaberg Hospital. Tasked by @QldAmbulance

A woman suffering a medical episode has been airlifted by our Bundy crew from a cruise ship. The helicopter was tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland and AMSA, 30 nautical miles north-east of Bundaberg. The patient, in her 70s, was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Our special mission helicopter yesterday rescued a truck driver caught in floodwaters in South Australia. The LifeFlight helicopter was supporting @NSWSES with flood-related rescues. The man was safely airlifted to waiting @SAPoliceNews.
