LifeLink of Georgia was proud to team up with the @GeorgiaSwarmLAX for Heroes Night, where our ambassadors connected with thousands of fans and shared the power of organ, eye, and tissue donation. The energy was incredible, and the impact? Even bigger.

LifeLink of Georgia partnered with the GreenJackets for an exciting night at the ballpark, connecting with over 4,100 fans and spreading the word about organ and tissue donation. Cheryl kicked things off with the first pitch, inspiring many to say “yes” to registering as donors.

UGA freshman Emory took the field for a truly unforgettable experience. After receiving a life changing kidney from her dad in 2019, the two shared a first pitch that was equal parts inspiring and heartwarming ❤️

Deanna threw an unforgettable first pitch at the UGA softball game in honor of her son, Hunter. 💙 Through the lifesaving gift of organ and tissue donation, Hunter’s legacy continues to touch countless lives offering hope, healing and a second chance to others.

At the Tech v. Cal game, we saw the power of one choice. June honored her son, Dylan, who registered as a donor at 16. His heart gave coach "Stan The Man" 12 more years of life. One selfless decision, a lasting legacy. 💚

There is a profound comfort in hearing the name of someone you love spoken aloud, even after they’re gone. For Hunter’s mother, seeing his name on the Tree of Life is a beautiful reminder that his legacy of helping others didn't end with his passing.

During our Day at LifeLink event, three volunteers—a recipient and two donor family members—shared their moving stories with Gwinnett Technical College students. Their bravery continues to inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Last month, we celebrated Donor Day at the Capitol and it was a great day of pushing the mission of organ and tissue education. Shout out to our legislators and volunteers that work towards the mission with us every day!

We had an amazing time hosting Gwinnett Technical College’s nursing students for their annual Day at LifeLink field trip! Students learned about the work our various departments do, heard powerful stories from donor families and a transplant recipient, and toured our tissue bank.

Everything is bigger in Texas—including our commitment to saving lives! 🤠 Our teams from Florida, Georgia and Puerto Rico have touched down in Grapevine for the NATCO Annual Meeting 2026. We’re excited to collaborate, learn and bring new insights back to our communities.
