I expect a massive market crash in 2025 as a direct result of the attempted assassination of Donald Trump. However, I did not expect this turn of events as the original trigger. A long post. How and why that will happen is now clear. This will have far reaching consequences, including for crypto. Yesterday's events are phase one out of three to the crash. Let me explain and hit a follow @duonine to never miss out. 1⃣ Trump attempted assassination - July 2024 With this event behind us, the US presidential elections is as good as decided. Provided nothing else bad happens to Trump until November 5th, he will win the elections. If you doubt this, then look into the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan from 1981. He won a landslide victory in the 1984 election. 2⃣ Trump becomes president - November 2024 As you can tell by now, Trump has many enemies. They tried to stop him in multiple ways, yet his odds of winning have never been higher. Suppose he wins the elections. What happens next? There are ways to make Trump's life hard post-elections. No president can control the ultimate tool of power. The market. 3⃣ Massive market crash - 2025 The best way to get back at Trump is to crash the market during his second term. HARD. This way, he gets all the blame for the crash and he has to fix it. The market is already primed for a massive crash. The S&P 500 made a new record just last week. In my opinion, it will continue to break records until after the US elections. Then the hammer drops. When exactly? No one knows, but 2025 is a great year for that looking at crypto cycles. 🚨 How should you prepare? If we get another strong rally later this year, that is your exit window to sell and book solid profits. Generally, a bull market in crypto does not last more than two years and we don't have much time left on this beyond 2024. A Trump win is bullish for crypto. Make the best of it (aka SELL), but I don't think it will last long. A last market pump could also happen in early 2025, but the risks of a crash are higher by then and you could be trapped if you time it poorly. The bear market always starts just as the market tops with euphoria. Remember that. At the end of this cycle, you need to hold only three assets: Bitcoin, Gold, and USD. If Trump wins or not is a bit irrelevant to crypto cycles, but him winning makes a crash in 2025 even more likely based on these recent developments. The question is if Bitcoin will become a hedge in such times of crisis or crash with the rest? ⚠️Disclaimer: Everything in crypto, markets, and life is based on probabilities. Nothing is certain, but the above scenario becomes more likely as each phase is confirmed. If Trump wins the elections, prepare for a market crash. I'll revisit these assumptions at the end of 2024.
