Direct political accountability is a fundamental problem in the NHS, and scrapping @NHSEngland is a good step to improve it. But it can’t only be top down, it must be local aswell. The next step should be to make Integrated Care Systems directly accountable to local MPs.

@RunnymedeBC I work in mental health and today’s been a really stressful day. Decided to go sit in nature at lunchtime but the local green space (Free Prae park) is completely wild. Impossible to sit under a tree as the grass is too overgrown. How can this be OK?
