First voice lesson in the books. Was fun! He also confirmed that I’m an alto. Audition is only, like, 20 seconds of “Do You Hear the People Sing?” So, one more session before next week audition time.

@Lifeiskitsch I reckon if you finish a half marathon, you win. For me, at 54, I hope I can jog/run into old age. I love getting up early 6 days a week, do stretches, alternating jog and run days. The jog days I don't stop, run days are intervals. My next half is July, hoping for a < 1.30 time.

10k jog completed today ✔️. My fastest one since I was in my early 30s (I’m 45 now) & before my 2016 Dx!

@LiftingHumanity My dad trained me to say “jog” when I really mean “run.” He associated runners as “very fast” & also sprinters. But if I’m not running for gold medals, he doesn’t call it a run. I did the half-marathon in Detroit in the rain last fall at around a 13 min/mile.

@Lifeiskitsch PB's are always possible irrespective of age. Maybe the jog will turn into a run at some point 🏃‍♀️✨️🍀

@MichealMcNelis June 3rd is audition. The person who was gonna give me voice lesson or two… her mom just died. Soooo… I’m either winging it (per the norm) or I’ll find someone before audition!
