From the highest planet in the material world down to the lowest, all are places of misery wherein repeated birth and death take place. But one who attains to My abode, O son of Kuntī, never takes birth again. Bhagavad-gītā 8.16

Krishna is the best friend of all living entities. No one can be a greater well wishing friend to any living entity than the Supreme Personality of Godhead.

I am seated in everyone’s heart, and from Me come remembrance, knowledge and forgetfulness. Bhagavad-gītā 15.15

He expands Himself in as many forms as there are waves in the ocean. Each expansion or avatar (such as Lord Vishnu, pictured below) is equally omnipotent, yet Krishna is named as the original, like the original candle that lights many others.

"Personality" or personhood is the essence of all beings. The ultimate source, or Supreme Being, contains everything in the ultimate degree, thus "Supreme Personality." Krishna is also described as the original source of all other Personalities of Godhead.
