@StormBlaze76 Actually. The CGs is believed to come from Clannad and the Orbs of Light system. I like to believe Dan he took inspiration of that when he made the CG's to collect to get the special ending. Even though he subverted the genre, he does like visual novels.

One of the important things that I don't see talked about is Sayori going crazy immediately after becoming aware. Which puts things into perspective that Monika was never the villain, neither Sayori nor even you, the player. The greatest evil of DDLC was the world they lived in.
