@otosalex @UPS When it comes to sending anything internationally and especially Canada, I always opt for DHL Express (and in rare cases, USPS --> Canada Post). UPS is well-known with how they bill absurd numbers in duties & fees. Pretty much make up a high number and bill it.

Extremely disappointed with @UPS they constantly deliver items to me and then weeks later invoice me for duties and fees. These need to be presented at the door, I would have never accepted some of these packages had I known about the fees. They also refuse to acknowledge this when I call in. On some occasions they snail mail it to me and it comes in weeks after it’s due and they charge a late fee… for them being late! I am stopping any services I had with them until this gets changed. Fuck you guys.

Lin (one of my favorite Korean keyboard designers) just gifted me one of my top grail keyboards, the Koala... and its even the brass version weight ones (only 4 of these exist)... and in classic fashion built with MX Blues and fitted with SA Commando 23 (do the new generation of keyboard warriors even know what these are 😭). Even despite being in my position, I never could bring myself to justify and pay the price for OTD boards and the likes (never featured an OTD on my channel to date) but to have been gifted this from a designer I've long been a huge fan of truly left me speechless and in awe. This will truly be a board to keep in my collection and cherish. It's interactions like these that got me excited to join the hobby in the first place and hopefully this spirit still continues on despite how the hobby has continued to grow. I love Lin.
