GameStop CEO Ryan Cohen says Sony’s decision to end physical PlayStation game discs won’t have a meaningful impact on the company.
In a Bloomberg interview, Cohen dismissed concerns about the change, saying, “It doesn’t matter at all.”
“Software mattered in the past. Software today makes up less than 12% of the business, and collectibles make up over half the business. So, it’s totally irrelevant.”

@GamingCentral26 If the disk to digital licence is permanent yeah. But my thing is the price, for casual gamer their not gonna pay $1,000 for a console that's barely gonna have any games for it. Then their monthly expenses rent, bills, groceries, gas, or even kids.
