@Kor_VT Who you want to be friends with is up to you. Some people want collabs with and nothing more. Others prefer making friends. It's probably time for you to draw that line and make it clear to those people. Don't feel the need to be uncomfortable just to please some them.

Kind of noticing a pattern lately… People I haven’t talked to in a while suddenly pop into my stream when my numbers are up, and not long after, I get a message. But it’s never to catch up or hang out, it’s straight to asking for collabs. It just feels a little off, like I’m only being noticed when my streams are doing well, and it makes me feel a bit used. Not everything has to be content.

Surgery Time - Be back real soon ❤️‍🩹 I will be gone at least 1 week starting Tuesday because I am finally having surgery for my Endometrial Cancer. I am having a robotic assisted total hysterectomy / salpingo oophorectomy. I'm super nervous and I'm going to miss all of you lots. I'm sorry we didn't get a proper celebration for hitting Partner but I promise once I'm feeling better we'll definitely have one. The plan is to be offline for at least a week, but recovery can take up to 6 from what I am told so expect updates and for me to take things slow with shorter streams or more gaps between them if I need it. We may mix some movie nights in too as I start feeling better. I'll be finding out what stage my cancer truly is after this which is the hardest part waiting for. I'll miss yall while I'm gone and can't wait to be back to streaming and hanging with all my friends as soon as possible. Wish me luck because I'm about to kick cancer's ass💪💗

@tinatheterror Very few people will start out being really entertaining. Most people need to learn a lot and that often means you need to make hundreds of hours of content just to get to that point. It can get overwhelming at times, but it can feel easier to slowly build up to that point.

Maybe just me but I feel like the recent trend trend of posts basically saying: "no amount of editing can make your unentertaining content good" is so incredibly mean and I cannot fathom why they get so many likes. No one starts out streaming as some top tier entertainer. Streaming is basically an archive of your content getting better over time. On top of that not every streamer is out here making viral moments. Some streamers are more cozy, some more or less talkative, etc. And yet, we as creators are told CONSTANTLY to post shorts/tiktoks. I hesitated getting an editor and posting clips for well over a year when I was new because I felt my content just wasn't that entertaining. I get it, effort needs to be put into content to turn it into clips. I understand what you are going for in the posts but to me it just comes across as unnecessarily mean. I'm really happy the editors I have worked with do not have this attitude and instead encourage me to send more clips and enhance my content even when a clip might not be a 10/10. It has helped build my confidence as a creator so much. To creators nervous about posting clips - just post! You don't even need an editor to start out. It's okay if not every single clip is an absolute banger. It's good to build a history of content for new viewers to binge. Sometimes seeing how you grew is really charming. Please do not let these posts going around discourage you.
