It would’ve made better sense for Lil’ Kim to do the tour with TLC, Salt N Pepa & En Vogue, I know it’s girl groups.. But, Lil’ Kim going on tour with the Pussycat Dolls is such a disconnect.

@theplanetpierre Huge disconnect.. PCD doesnt even have enough hits to even be doing a tour of this magnitude.. first mistake.. Mya & Lil’ Kim makes sense.. they have music together, both 90’s r&b / hip hop royalty… Have you not seen the response.. people are lost..

Step Up surprisingly is always talked about more for the fire ass soundtrack than the movie itself. Ciara is one of those reasons.
“Get Up” moved away from the more Crunk&B sound that defined Ciara’s entry and came in edgier, sleeker, with a more electro backdrop.
Then, the huge budget for the video and choreography EVERYWHERE mixed in with the iconic dance break which became synonymous with the Ciara brand.
20 years on, “Get Up” remains a reason why Ciara should have that Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award @vmas @mtv
