This system is prevalent of colony sim games, where you assign people to make a set number of resources whenever possible. I do hope they add this as their game director IIRC is a huge Dwarf Fortress fan!

1. Unlock the "Crusher" in the Technology screen
2. Place it at your base and dump in your surplus wood
3. Assign a watering Pal!
That's it! As long as you have wood in your base and a Pal to do the work, the crusher will make endless fiber!💡
