I can’t wait to head into work, via stage door this time, to have lunch in the blue room canteen again while running lines and to bang those windows on opening night for real. Some dreams take a little while, but are worth the wait.

20 years ago I went on a school trip to see a show at somewhere called the National Theatre. I’d never heard of it and didn’t know I wanted to be an actor or anything, but I remember stepping into the auditorium and thinking - woah, this place is cool, I like it here.
