🍋 We have been building something truly different for Limonata: a protocol-level encrypted mempool. Instead of exposing transactions publicly before they are included in a block, our mempool protects them during the waiting period. This helps reduce front-running, transaction manipulation, and several forms of MEV that normally disadvantage users. The most important part is that the protection is built directly into the blockchain. Validators do not need to manually manage or permanently hold a trusted encryption key. The active key rotates between validators through the protocol, without operators knowing in advance when the rotation will occur. Our goal is simple: create a fairer transaction environment where no participant can easily exploit pending transactions before block execution. This module has required a huge amount of research, testing, and concentration, but the results are extremely promising. Limonata is not trying to become just another EVM blockchain. We are building new infrastructure directly at the protocol level. 🍋

Introducing encrypted mempool + validator DKG - front-running dies at the door On most chains, the mempool is a glass house. The moment you broadcast a transaction, every bot, searcher, and validator can read it, copy it, and jump the line. That is where sandwich attacks, front-running, and MEV extraction live. Limonata's next upgrade closes that door. Your transaction stays encrypted until the block that executes it is already decided. Nobody sees the contents early - not a searcher, not a single validator, and not any group smaller than a supermajority of the network. How it works, in four steps: The validators build a shared key together. Through an on-chain, transparent, stake-weighted DKG (distributed key generation), the validator set generates one public key whose private half nobody holds. Each validator only carries a fragment. You encrypt to that key. Your signed transaction is sealed to the network's threshold key before it ever hits the mempool. On-chain, it is just ciphertext - unreadable. The network decrypts it together, and only when it is time. Once the sealed tx matures, each validator automatically contributes a decryption share as part of consensus. No coordinator, no daemon to run. Threshold reached -> decrypt and execute. When roughly two-thirds of the stake has contributed, and not one moment before, the transaction is revealed and executed. Below that threshold, it stays sealed. Forever, if the network never agrees. Why it matters: no front-running, no sandwiching, no peeking. Order is decided while the content is still secret, so fair ordering is the default, not a favor. Confidentiality is enforced by consensus itself, not by trusting one operator to behave. We proved the full path end-to-end - key generation, encrypted submission, collective decryption, and execution - across a live multi-validator network. Shipping in v0.3.0

Being in the Chain Registry is underrated but huge. Standardized metadata is what turns a chain from isolated into genuinely composable across the ecosystem. We leaned on the same Cosmos standards building Sovren, so nodes doing verified infra work plug into wallets and tooling people already use. Congrats on the milestone.
