Year 3 have had a wonderful day learning how to care for our sapling woodland. Thanks to everyone at @merseyforest and @ManMetUni for leading our workshop today and inspiring us to care for the nature in our school environment. We can't wait for the second workshop next week!

A huge thank you to Izzy from Discover Lindow - @LindowMoss who came to school yesterday to deliver 2 inspiring Science workshops to our Reception and Year 6 classes.

Yesterday, our Year 4 pupils had a brilliant day at @McrMuseum visiting the different collections on display. The highlight for the children was visiting the 'Wild' exhibition and seeing their work on display.

We have had a great time in school celebrating World Mental Health Day today. We have had lots of fun in yellow raising £300 for YoungMinds. #WorldMentalHealthDay #HelloYellow

What a fantastic start to the school year we have had this last week. A huge thank you to all of our Year 6 Buddies who have helped our Reception children make a brilliant start to school life.

Our Year 6 Pupils enjoyed a visit to @LindowMoss to install all of our school artwork. The art installations mark the 40th anniversary of the discovery of Lindow Man!

Our Reception Class had a wonderful trip to Gruff Farm. We met lots of animals and completed some craft activities. Thank you to everyone at Gruff Farm for making our first school trip so memorable!

Year 1 had a truly fantastic day at @chesterzoo yesterday. We enjoyed exploring the zoo to see the exotic animals. Our 'Amazing Animals' workshop was so interesting - we learnt so much - Thank you!

On Friday our Year 2 class had a fantastic time being forest explorers at @ExploreDelamere. Thanks to the rangers who delivered 2 brilliant workshops about animal habitats and den building. #outdooreducation #wilmslow

On Wednesday 19th June our school community will be taking part in @Brakecharity 'Kids Walk'. We would like to encourage as many of our pupils as possible to walk to school to shout out for their right to make safe and healthy journeys. #wilmslow #kidswalk

This morning, children in Reception, Year 3 & Year 6 were excited to visit the Library Bus from @CheshireELS - Thank you for coming to visit us!

Our Year 6 pupils have had a wonderful trip to @PGLTravel Boreatton Park. Thank you to everyone at the centre for making the trip a truly memorable experience for all of our pupils.

Our Reception class have been learning about people in our local community and have had an action-packed week filled with visitors. Thank-you to @WslowWestChoPol , @WilmslowFS & The Vets' Place for spending time in school this week, we loved learning about how you help us.

This afternoon Year 6 celebrated the end of SATS week by cooking up a storm! - The children made salmon en croute, home-made pasta, beef bolognese & vegan bolognese. @jamieoliver watch out!

Year 3 are having a brilliant day working with @merseyforest @ManMetUni @CYPTreescapes on the Voices of the Future Project. We have been exploring and appreciating the nature and treescapes surrounding us as well as learning about how amazing trees are for our environment.
